Viktor Zhuravkov began working using the ONTO NOTHING methodology in December 2025. The starting point is 6 sessions of NEIRY EEG monitoring, which recorded a basic relaxation index of 1.98. There were no check-ups or written reflections carried out during this period yet - December was entirely about setting up the protocol and the first data collection. The stated goal of the method for the first month of work: to double the relaxation index from the baseline (that is, reach ≥3.96) and turn the entry into the alpha-theta rhythm from a random result into a controlled skill.
6 NEIRY sessions, no check-ups or reflections. Relaxation index = 1.98 - this is the baseline, the starting point for all further comparisons. Alpha gravity is low (1.44), focus is relatively high (51.3), concentration 0.69 is the highest for the entire observation period, stress is low (39.92), self-control 66.36. There is nothing to compare with yet - this is the first month.
15 NEIRY sessions - a sharp increase in the volume of practice (2.5 times more than December). Relaxation index increased to 3.31 (×1.67 from the base) - a significant jump over the month, but the goal of ×2 has not yet been achieved. Alpha gravity jumped from 1.44 to 6.86. At the same time, focus fell from 51.3 to 39.81, concentration - from 0.69 to 0.45. Self-control, on the contrary, rose to 71.49 - the maximum for the entire period. There are still no reflections or check-ups.
8 sessions - a noticeable decrease in the frequency of practice compared to January (15→8), almost half. Nevertheless, the relaxation index continued to grow: 3.9 (×1.97 from the base) - almost close to the doubling goal, despite less intensive practice. Alpha gravity continued to grow (8.15 is the maximum of the period). Focus and concentration decreased a little more (38.47 and 0.42, respectively), stress increased to 42.83. There are still no checkups or reflections.
14 sessions - practice returned to January intensity. Relaxation index reached 4.34 (×2.19 from the base) - goal ×2 was officially achieved for the first time during the observation period. This is the highest point of the relaxation index until June. At the same time, alpha gravity dropped sharply to 1.0 (the minimum of the period on par with May), focus - to 37.16, concentration - to 0.35 (the minimum at that time), stress continued to grow (44.17). Self-control rolled back to 67.57. There are no reflections or check-ups.
15 sessions - the most intense month in terms of the number of sessions, on par with January. Relaxation index — 4.0 (×2.02 from the base): a slight decrease relative to the March peak (4.34), but the target ×2 was maintained. Alpha gravity jumped again to 6.43, focus increased slightly to 39.19, concentration remained low (0.38). Stress at the same level (44.2), self-control - 67.36. There are no check-ups or reflections yet.
6 NEIRY sessions - a noticeable decrease in activity (from 15 to 6, 2.5 times). Relaxation index has remained virtually unchanged - 3.99 (×2.02 from the base), plateauing at the target level. Alpha gravity dropped again to 1.01, focus and concentration unchanged (37.32 and 0.4), stress at the maximum of the period at that time (44.32). Written reflections appear for the first time - 5 per month. The tone of the entries is everyday, about sleep and well-being:
“It passed calmly. In the morning I woke up several times, but fell asleep. I feel fine - a little heaviness in my stomach. Average strength means laziness. I’ll rest today” (05/24/2026).
“The night passed calmly, I slept, woke up little... as for how I felt..." (05/25/2026, voice).
2 NEIRY sessions - minimum for the entire observation period, EEG practice has almost stopped. At the same time, the relaxation index showed the largest jump of all time: 4.67 (×2.36 from the base) - a new maximum. An important caveat: this value is based on only 2 sessions, and not on a sustainable series, so its statistical weight is lower than that of the March or April result - it is too early to draw a conclusion about a new sustainable level. Alpha gravity rose to 8.26, but stress, on the contrary, decreased noticeably for the first time over the period - to 37.42 (below the December baseline). Focus continued to decline (34.6 is the minimum of the period), concentration is also at a minimum (0.32). Reflections increased to 19 per month - regular daily practice of self-observation:
“The night went well, I slept well, I got enough sleep, I got up late, I slept for almost 9 hours... I have the feeling that I overslept” (06/03/2026, voice).
“I woke up around 7 am a little earlier, but went to bed at 12... the night went well, I slept well, I feel like I got enough sleep” (06/05/2026, voice).
0 NEIRY sessions - EEG practice was completely interrupted this month, there is no data on the relaxation index for July. It’s worth saying directly: after the peak in June there was a pause in the instrumentation part of the protocol. At the same time, reflective practice did not stop - 12 entries per month, describing sleep, walks and workouts:
“Good morning, the night went well, I slept well, woke up at 6:20, got up, ate and went for a walk around the city and then strength training...” (07/03/2026, voice).
“Good morning, the night has passed... I got enough sleep, went to bed a little late, at 11 to 12 at night, 23:30, but got up at 7:20, that’s why... I got enough sleep...” (07/03/2026, voice).
The main goal marker - the relaxation index - went from a baseline of 1.98 to 4.67, that is, ×2.36. The ×2 target (3.96) was first achieved in March (4.34) and since then the index has remained above or at target level for five consecutive months (March–June), with a slight plateau in April–May at 4.0. This indicates that the increase was not a random jump at one point, but was consolidated as a more or less stable new range - with the exception of the June value of 4.67, which is based on only 2 sessions and requires further confirmation with a larger amount of data.
It is important not to embellish the rest of the picture: maintenance indicators for the same period generally do not increase along with relaxation. Focus monotonically decreases throughout almost the entire period - from 51.3 in December to 34.6 in June, that is, it decreases as the relaxation index increases. Concentration shows similar dynamics - from 0.69 to 0.32. Alpha gravity fluctuates greatly from month to month (from 1.0 to 8.26) without a pronounced directional trend - this, apparently, is not an indicator where Victor has accumulated steady progress. Cognitive score remains in a narrow range of 44–50 throughout the entire period—essentially unchanged. NSI was not recorded in the provided data for this client.
Thus, the honest picture is this: the ability to enter a state of deep relaxation has grown and consolidated (this is the stated goal of the method), but this has not been accompanied by a parallel increase in focus or concentration - rather the opposite. This may indicate specialization of the skill - growth specifically in the ability to “let go” of the state, and not simultaneously in all measured axes.
Previously, there was no physiological layer in this case. Now it is there - the tracker is connectedWHOOPwith continuous data for the entire observation period (and even wider - from April 2025). This changes the picture: body dynamics are added to the dynamics of the brain - recovery, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and stress.
Main:Viktor’s physiology has been consistently good throughout the entire period— recovery is in the range of 64–71%, HRV 47–52 ms, resting pulse 45–48 beats/min, sleep 7–7.7 hours with quality 80–90%. This is a trained, well-recovering organism with very high physical activity - from 39 to 79 workouts per month (mainly walking and strength training).

The key connection is brain↔body. The period of the most active acquisition of the relaxation skill—December→January→February, when RI grew from 1.98 to 3.9—coincided withbest autonomous indicators for the entire period: in January, HRV reached its maximum (51.8 ms), resting heart rate dropped to a minimum (45.5), and sleep quality reached its peak (90%). That is, the growth of the “brain” skill did not occur in a vacuum - the body at that time was in the best form of recovery.
Fair disclaimer. In the second half (March–June), the lines diverge: RI remains high (4.0–4.67), and HRV decreases slightly to a plateau of ~47 ms. It seems that the relaxation skill has been consolidated by this point and has become more autonomous from the current physical tone - RI is no longer strictly tied to the HRV of the day. The peak load (February–March: strain 12.6, up to 79 workouts) was accompanied by a slight decline in recovery (64.7% in February) - a normal reaction to volume. There are still no instrument checks and blood tests - WHOOP closes the “body” layer, but the clinical layer in the case is still empty.
Now that there are both lines - instrument data from the brain (NEIRY) and the body (WHOOP) - you can superimpose them on each other and see what moved synchronously and what lived its own life. Below are the monthly dynamics for December 2025 – June 2026 (months where there is both an EEG and a tracker).
Brain picture:relaxation index is growing(the main skill of the method), andfocus - decreasing(51→35). This is a specialization: Victor is getting better at “letting go”, but not “getting ready.” Stress is kept within a narrow corridor, self-control is stable.
Body picture:everything is stable and good. Peak recovery/HRV/sleep is January (the most active month of practice), then a slight plateau. The resting pulse slowly creeps up (46→48) - the only weak signal.

Linked conclusion. The body was a reliable foundation throughout the entire period - it did not interfere and in the best months (January) it directly helped: the peak of HRV, sleep and recovery coincided with the start of an increase in relaxation. Then the brain skill became autonomous from daytime physical tone. The only area of attention is the slow increase in resting heart rate and decrease in focus; both are worth keeping an eye on in the next cycle.
The phenomenological part of the case began only in May - before that, for 5 months the practice was exclusively instrumental, without a reflective layer. As soon as reflections appeared, the volume quickly grew: 5 recordings in May, 19 in June, 12 in July - that is, even when EEG sessions stopped completely in July, the habit of daily self-observation not only continued, but remained at a level comparable to June. This in itself is indicative: the instrumental and reflective parts of Victor’s practice are not strictly connected - one can continue without the other.
The content of the entries is of the same type and focused on basic things - quality of sleep, feeling cheerful or tired, simple everyday actions (“I ate and went for a walk around the city and then strength training”). There are no dramatic stories of transformation in the texts - it is rather the calm, everyday tone of a person who regularly records his condition. Entries from July add physical activity (walking, strength training) to what was previously only about sleep - the only hint of a change in behavior in everyday life that can be traced from the available data, but the sample is small (a few mentions) to talk about this as a proven pattern.
