Researcher's journal: one screen instead of three

When you lead a group of people using your method, the list of participants is not the most important thing. Another thing is important: who is this person in the study, is he working now, and whether his access has expired while you haven’t remembered about him. The explorer's journal showed a list. He did not answer these questions.

Below - what was wrong, what has changed and how it works. With screenshots of the working version.

What was wrong

First: it was unclear who was in what condition. The person on the list did not have a visible role in the study or whether their access was valid. The student whose subscription ran out looked exactly the same as the one who simply took a break - “not active”, and that’s all. These are two different conversations, but on the screen they were one.

Second: the network was visible, but there was no one to contact. The people your invitees brought were on the list, but there was no write button. You can watch, but you cannot work.

Third: there were two magazines. One was opened from the menu, the other was opened by a button from appointment reminders, and they showed different things. And for those whose cohort had not yet been recruited, instead of the screen they were shown the line “no students”: no categories, no guest tab, no invitation button. The empty magazine didn't look empty, but broken.

The entire network on one screen

Five tabs:VIP, Group, Masters, Guests, Guests of guests. The role is marked right next to the name, the access status is indicated by a colored edge on the left and a signature. The list can be read with peripheral vision: the green line pays, the orange line is on trial, the red line has expired.

Under the tabs are quick cuts. The tap on the chip has expired - and in front of you is a ready list for return, with a counter next to it. Slices appear only where there is someone to select, and work on all tabs, including their students.

Cohort on one screen: each person has a role in the study and access status. The names of the participants hereinafter have been replaced.

Masters Tab

Previously, in its place there was a “Case” category - during the entire operation of the platform, not a single person was included in it. Now everyone who has the status of PI, CI or SI is there: both their own master students and those invited by someone else.

The second circuit spoke

Guests of guests are people brought by your invitees. They were visible, but they had nothing to write about. It turned out that the contact was in the data from the very beginning: it was lost in one line of code when assembling the card.

Student case is collected every week

There was one “book” case in the entire history of observation - it was assembled manually for demonstration. Now a tape is accumulating nearby: case 1, case 2, case 3. The master sees not the average result, but the movement - how the person walked week after week.

Every Monday the closed week turns into a separate case. Monday - because the week must be completed: otherwise the case will be collected at half the data and then moved.

Four weeks of observation. Below is the previous full case for 9 months, it has not gone away.

What's inside the case

Who needs this?

To the master who leads the cohort

The entire network without transitions between screens. You can see who’s subscription is running out, which guests are already paying, and who’s just hanging out in the bot - and you can contact everyone in one tap. Plus a weekly chronicle for each student with the device: the evidence base of the method is collected independently, without manual work.

Study participant

The status is no longer invisible. The role is assigned at the time of the event - paid for the tariff or attached to a mentor - and not sometime later, during a manual run. I bought the master plan - cohort and group analytics open immediately.

Platform

The role has become data that you can rely on: it opens functionality and calculates analytics. Previously, a person without an entry in the table silently received the role of “participant” - and the master could lose his entire cohort from the screen.

Why won't it go away again?

1. The status is set at the time of the event.I paid the master's rate and became a PI. Attached to a mentor - became an RA. Not “sometime during the next update,” but immediately.
2. Status will not be revoked for late payments.The subscription has ended - access is closed, but the title remains. The GM does not lose his cohort from the screen due to not renewing on time.
3. Status follows fact.Leading people means leading, no matter how you became one. Previously, it was possible to lead a cohort and at the same time not have the right to see it.
