−49% stress in one session

Self-measuring on NEIRY before, during and immediately after the session - with honest reservations and numbers that were not adjusted to a beautiful conclusion.

We promise that the digital case sells itself. Here's what it looks like in practice—not in a six-month cohort study, but in one session, one device, and one volunteer.

The volunteer is myself. I went to a “bioritual” session - a practice that I had never participated in before - and put on NEIRY before, during and immediately after. Three separate recordings of one day, back-to-back in time, without editing and without repetitions.

All figures are from three NEIRY records of one day, without post-facto processing

This is not noise in one metric: the pulse, the EEG spectrum and the device’s built-in indices moved in the same direction at the same time.

How it was measured

Test "before" - 3 minutes sitting with eyes closed, end of 13-minute recording. Next is the lying down session itself: the first ~5.5 minutes the device is calibrated and I just lie down, then the practitioner switches gears - from this second until the end of the session, 69.5 minutes. The “after” test - the same sitting position, eyes closed, started ~2 minutes after I got up from the couch.

I compare the same thing: 3 minutes of rest with closed eyes, before and immediately after. Then I look at what happened inside the hour itself - not just at two points.

ImportantN = 1, no control group - this is a self-measurement of one person, not a cohort study. One device, one channel - artifacts at phase junctions are possible. The Relaxation device's own composite index has remained almost unchanged, although the pulse and alpha waves show a noticeable shift - we present both numbers, not just the convenient one. This is not a medical diagnosis.
INSIDE THE HOUR

What happened inside the hour

The stress index drops almost immediately after the practitioner shifts into gear, and then remains at a new, noticeably lower plateau for almost the entire hour. In the last minutes, when the session comes to an end, there is an honest outburst: the body is preparing to stand up, and not a malfunction of the device.

The real data does not look like an ideal line, but rather a curve - with a drop after switching on and a surge at the end. This is what makes the case convincing, not the advertising slogan.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN

What does this mean—and what doesn't?

Three independent channels - pulse, EEG spectrum, built-in device indices - moved in one direction: less physiological stress, more alpha activity, less “vigilance”. At the same time, attention and cognitive control also decreased - this is expected for deep peace, and not a contradiction: the person did not become “sharper”, he became calmer.

This is not proof of the effectiveness of a particular practice as such - it is a record of what one device showed on one person on one day. But this is exactly the format that works better than a review in a story: not “it seemed to me,” but a post before and a post after.
