First session - silence in the head. The second is attention in the body. This one is deeper than both. The boundary between wakefulness and sleep, where the brain is most susceptible to change.
Session 3 works with a condition that scientists call "window of neuroplasticity". This is the boundary between wakefulness and sleep.
This is where the brain is most receptive to change—where old patterns are actually being rewritten rather than just discussed.
This state cannot be achieved by force.
It can only be allowed.
Sit comfortably. The back is straight or supported.
Just sit. Look ahead.
This is the entrance - the nervous system is aligned, the recording is in progress.
10 minutes have passed.
Close your eyes.
Before you start, read to the end. This is important.
There is a state that you know but have never consciously noticed. It's happening every night - in those few minutes when you are almost asleep, but not quite yet.
The body has already switched off. Thoughts have become loose and non-linear. Images appear on their own - without logic, without plot. The boundaries between “me” and everything else become blurred.
This is not a dream. This is not waking. This is the space between them.
Something unusual happens on the EEG at this moment: alpha rhythm and theta rhythm occur in balance. Neuroscientists have recorded that it is at this point that the brain is most plastic - it is literally ready to restructure itself.
Usually you fall through this state into sleep - and don’t notice. Now the task is different: enter there intentionally and stay.
You won't get there through effort.. Trying to “achieve” this state destroys it. — the brain turns on control again, and you return to normal wakefulness.
The only way is to allow it.
Allow the body to become heavy. Allow thoughts to become loose. Allow yourself almost fall through - but don’t fall asleep.
If images appear, don't grab them. Just watch them pass by. If you get the feeling of boundaries dissolving, don’t be afraid, stay. If you fall asleep, that's okay too. This is also data.
Now just let me.
Let go of control. Don't be silent on purpose. Don't intentionally direct your attention to your body.. Simply, let go of everything you're holding on to.
Allow depth.
25 minutes have passed.
Open your eyes slowly. Take your time.
Don’t evaluate what happened and whether it happened at all. Simply, you opened your eyes and stayed where you are.
Look ahead of you. Quiet. Without words.
10 minutes have passed.
Sit down. Give yourself time to come back completely.. Then answer a few questions.
This session is about the border. Subjective experience is especially valuable here.
