context

The body mind existed long before words

He knows more than you can articulate. Interoception - the ability to hear one's own body - is one of the key markers of neurophysiological health. In this session we measure how open this channel is for you.

Open eyes

Sit comfortably. The back is straight or supported.

Just sit. Look ahead.

This is the entrance. The nervous system is leveling out, recording is in progress. You don't need to do anything.

part 2 · 15 minutes

Closed eyes - in the body

Close your eyes.

Bring your attention to your body. Fully.

Don't analyze feelings. Don't call them words. Simply - move your attention to where something is. Stomach. Breast. Palms. Feet. Or the whole body at once - as a single stream.

No need to look for anything specific. No need to change or fix anything. Just be where the sensations are already there.

If a thought appears, don’t fight. Just bring your attention back to your body.

part 3 · 10 minutes

Eyes open again

Open your eyes.

Feeling the body - try not to lose it. Don't go back into your head. Just look ahead and stay inside.

The body hasn't gone anywhere. It's here. It's just that my eyes are open now.

10 minutes have passed.

after the session

Briefly about yourself

Sit a minute. Then answer a few questions, either in writing or by voice.

Five questions

Your contact with the body is a measurable quantity. Your feelings are also important.

  1. How did you feel during the session?? Comfortable, tense, neutral?
  2. How successful transfer attention to the body and keep it there? From 1 to 5, where 1 - attention almost immediately went back to the head, 5 - was in the body most of the time.
  3. What exactly did you feel in your body? warmth, heaviness, pulse, something else? Or was there almost no sensation?
  4. Were there any moments when something changed dramatically? tension, surge, unexpected sensation?
  5. When I opened my eyes - Was the contact with the body preserved or did it disappear immediately?
